ABOUT EMMA CLEARY PHOTOGRAPHY

As a photographer and artist, I aim to capture each person’s unique individuality and the dynamic between people. Whether it be a portrait of one person, a couple, a family or a wedding, I look at every detail, every emotion and capture them from the most flattering angles, with an artist’s eye and a perfectionist’s touch. I often work with actors and business people on headshots and corporate headshots. I understand what needs to be accomplished and deliver a product which fits the guidelines, yet is artistic and flattering. Working with maternity photography and kids I bring a softness and gentleness that captures the subjects beauty and innocence.

As a Parsons graduate, I am an accomplished artist, having had many exhibitions of my paintings in New York City. Drawing from my background in fine arts, I compose every photograph like a canvas, every subject like a muse and create truly iconic yet photojournalistic images. I work with my subjects to create images that are unscripted, unposed. My post production work is painstaking, I am an expert retoucher who has worked with many famous fashion photographers on many magazine covers and campaigns. Having experience as a model, a photographer and a retoucher, I take ownership of the creation of an image from conception to completion.
